My Best Friend

            Everyone has a best friend, and so do I. My best friend’s name is Vinod. We study in the same class and go to the same school. We sit together and help each other with studies.

            My best friend is very kind, honest, and helpful. He is good in studies and also plays well. We play together during recess and share our lunch. We both love playing cricket and reading storybooks.

            Whenever I feel sad or upset, my friend cheers me up. We never fight and always support each other. My friend always tells the truth and respects teachers and elders. That is why everyone likes him.

            We also visit each other’s homes and celebrate birthdays together. I feel lucky to have such a wonderful friend in my life.

            A best friend is like a precious gift, and I will always take care of our friendship.
