Rainy Season

            The rainy season is my favorite season of the year. It comes after the hot summer and brings cool weather and fresh air. In India, the rainy season usually starts in June and lasts till September.

            During this season, the sky is full of dark clouds, and we hear the sound of thunder and see flashes of lightning. When it rains, the trees and plants look fresh and green. Farmers are happy because rain helps in growing crops. Rivers, lakes, and ponds get filled with water.

            Children love to play in the rain and make paper boats. I also enjoy eating hot snacks like bhaji and corn during rainy days. Sometimes, we even get holidays when it rains heavily!

            But the rainy season also has some problems. Roads become muddy and slippery, and sometimes there is waterlogging and traffic. We must also be careful to stay safe and avoid getting wet to prevent illness.

            Still, the rainy season is a wonderful time that brings joy to people and nature. I love watching the raindrops fall on leaves and listening to the sound of rain. It makes everything look fresh and clean.
