            Christmas is a joyful festival celebrated on 25th December every year to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. It is one of the most important festivals for Christians, but people of all religions also enjoy it.

            Before Christmas, people clean and decorate their homes with lights, stars, and colourful ornaments. A Christmas tree is beautifully decorated with bells, balls, and ribbons. Churches are also decorated, and special prayers are held at midnight.

            On Christmas day, people wear new clothes, visit friends and relatives, and exchange gifts. Children eagerly wait for Santa Claus, who is believed to bring presents and sweets for them. Delicious cakes, cookies, and chocolates are prepared during the celebration.

            Christmas spreads the message of love, peace, and kindness. It reminds us to help those in need and to live in harmony with others.

            It is a festival that brings families and friends together, filling hearts with happiness and hope.
