Teacher’s Day Essay
Teacher’s Day is celebrated every year on 5th September in India to honour our teachers. This day is the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great teacher, philosopher, and the second President of India.
Teachers play a very important role in our lives. They guide us, teach us knowledge and values, and help us become good human beings. On Teacher’s Day, students express their love and respect for their teachers.
In schools, special programs are organised on this day. Students give speeches, perform dances, sing songs, and sometimes take the role of teachers for fun. Teachers are given cards, flowers, and gifts as a token of appreciation.
Teacher’s Day reminds us to be thankful to our teachers for their hard work and dedication. Without them, we cannot achieve success in life.
It is a day to celebrate the bond between teachers and students and to respect the noble profession of teaching.
